Baden Phillips

Baden is a Director and Principal of AdviceLab. He has been working in the insurance industry since 2012. He specialises in personal risk insurance (life, trauma, disability, Income); as well as your domestic (home, contents, cars) and business insurance covers, making him the best person to contact for your insurance needs.

Born in the late 80’s Baden is an adviser from a younger generation. Looking to build long term relationships with his clients, he brings a fresh approach that is relatable to all. Baden holds qualifications in the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services as well as a Bachelor of Commerce, specialising in Marketing and Management. He started his industry experience in domestic insurance claims, before becoming a case manager for income protection claims. Along with prior training, having first-hand experience at claim time has given Baden a good foundation to be an adviser with his clients’ interests first.

Baden wears the business shirt but is an outdoorsman at heart. If he isn’t being the family man at home he is spending his leisure time fishing, diving, tramping and exploring another remote part of New Zealand.
