It's our pleasure to welcome Nick Wells to the Wealthpoint Ltd Board. Nick is a Christchurch-based adviser, director of the Amicus Insurance and Financial Advisers Group, and a former Wealthpoint Adviser of the Year, bringing deep expertise in business and personal risk advice. We’d also like to acknowledge and thank David Gyde for his outstanding contribution as a director over the past six years, including four as our inaugural Chairman, where his leadership was instrumental in guiding Wealthpoint through its formative years to the thriving co-operative it is today. Thank you David, and welcome Nick!

Last night we had the pleasure of attending the 2025 SSANZ Triple Series race briefing. We enjoyed the opportunity to meet some of the 116 teams competing and wish them all the best for the series. It's great to be able to include Wealthpoint Ltd member businesses - like Morris & Co Financial Advisers and Trilogy Financial Solutions NZ Ltd in our sponsorship activities too - thanks Steve Morris and Adrian Dale!

Our Annual Awards Dinner was the perfect way to end our 2025 Conference – celebrating the achievements of our Wealthpoint Ltd members and advisers. Congratulations to Michelle Miller (Business Support Person of the Year), Peta Lee Buckley (Emerging Adviser of the Year), Tom Stanley (Adviser of the Year), Reliable Brokers (Emerging Business of the Year), and Mainland (Business of the Year). We also celebrated the significant contribution Wealthpoint Director and former Chairman David Gyde has made to the establishment and growth of Wealthpoint over many years. David was presented with an award for Outstanding Contribution to Wealthpoint. We consider the Wealthpoint network to be among the best financial advice groups in the industry, so our award winners truly are outstanding individuals and businesses. Another stunning, and memorable event made possible by TSquared Events, Toitoi - Hawke's Bay Arts & Events Centre, and Deon Hendrikz
